Biographical history
Faith C. Donald is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at Ryerson University. Donald graduated with a Ph.D. in Nursing and an Ontario Training Centre Diploma in Health Services and Policy Research from McMaster University in June 2007 and is a 2000 graduate of the Ontario Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program at Ryerson University. She held a CHSRF Postdoctoral Award at Ryerson, for the period from February 1, 2007 to January 31, 2009. Her research program primarily focuses on advanced practice nursing (clinical nurse specialists and nurse practitioners) in primary and long-term care. Donald received the 2008 Council of Ontario University Programs in Nursing Dissertation Award. She continues her clinical practice as a primary health care nurse practitioner on a locum basis and serves on the Board of Directors for Health Quality Ontario.
