Ken Shaw classic

Item is a brass black with black laquer, mounted on brass, mounted on wood with a carved border. Ryerson's first fundraising campaign

File contains a letter from Ryerson President Walter Pitman to Ryerson faculty and staff regarding the first concentrated corporate fundraising campaign. Included with the letter is a brochure. The project co-ordinator was Louis Gonsalves of the Alumni Office.

Fundraising Campaigns

This Series contains correspondence and promotional materials related to the "Invest in Futures" fundraising campaign launched Thursday, May 13, 2004, Ron Besse as campaign chair, held at 43 Gerrard St E. Officially closed June 30, 2006, with continued contributions up to December 2008.

Float promoting Victory Bonds

Item is a snapshot photograph of a group of women dressed to portray different countries, with banners for clarification. They are seated on a wagon as part of a parade. Above their heads a banner reads "VICTORY/ The BELL THREAD Co. Ltd/ HAVE YOU BOUGHT--" Beneath the float, more banners read "DOUBLE YOU LAST/ BUY VICTORY BONDS".

Television broadcasting laboratory

As part of the Developing for the '80s fundraising campaign, Sony Canada donated a new broadcasting laboratory, "the most advanced in Canada" ("Bulletin" article, see RG 577.01.02) for RTA and the Journalism Department students.
