Ron M. Goldsmith is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Geographic Analysis at Ryerson University. Goldsmith earned his BSc from the University of Saskatchewan and his MA from York University, Toronto. He taught at Ryerson from 1971 to 2004. In 1991, Goldsmith served on the university executive committee, placed in charge of curriculum and academic standards. In 2000, Goldsmith was named Ryersonian of the Year in recognition of outstanding service to the University.
