Biographical history
Greg Inwood is a Professor in the Department of Politics and Public Administration and a member of the Yeates School of Graduate Studies at Ryerson University. Inwood earned his BA (Hons.) in History and his MA in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario and his PhD in Political Science from the University of Toronto. Inwood was appointed to a full-time faculty position in 1998 and achieved the rank of full Professor in 2007. He teaches courses on Canadian federalism and intergovernmental relations, the political economy of Canadian-American relations, and public administration. His research interests include Canadian federalism, the Canadian political economy, public administration and trade policy. In 2006, Inwood was awarded the Canadian Political Science Association's Don Smiley Prize for his book "Continentalizing Canada: The Politics and Legacy of the Macdonald Royal Commission" (University of Toronto Press, 2005). Inwood is a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Parliamentary and Political Law, a past Member of the Board of the Canadian Political Science Association, and is a past Director of the Ontario Legislature Internship Programme.
