"A new activist poster for the School of Disability Studies features "Passion" by artist Rebecca Beayni. The painting was part of a 2003 international exhibit, featuring the work of artists with disabilities. The poster's goal, writes School Director Melanie Panitch in 'Abilities' magazine, is to "advance our mission, through art, to reshape the disability narrative and build a social identity grounded in pride"" [FORUM, January/February, 2005]
