An excerpt from the jury report: "Located on a difficult by very beautiful site in a well established residential part of Toronto,... The Jury felt that the architects had succeeded in creating with the simplest forms of construction and the most economical finishes interior and exterior environments conducive to the learning process, to a feeling of well-being and to a greater awareness of the empathy that can and should exist between student and the natural world."
