File contains letters from family and friends to Grant Collingwood. Main correspondents are his mother Laura Pansy Camelia Prouty Collingwood and sister Ruth Johnston. Other correspondents include J.H. Pond, Isabel Freethy, Landlord Mrs. B. Charteris, Barb Keller, Marilyn Jauch, Yvonne Beaumont, Phyl Kohl, Gerry and Adele Black, and Michael Calverley . Much of the correspondence took place while Collingwood was at the Queen Alexandra Sanatorium in London (1942-1943).

File contains a long folded letter of pasted together sheets and a booklet, with individual hand-written get well notes to Grant Collingwood from his colleagues at MacLean publishing, along with 2 type-written letters.
