Letterpress Plate (Half-Tone): 1966-1967 course calendar cover

Two identical letterpress printing plates showing a side view of Egerton Ryerson's face and "Ryerson Polytechnical Institute" around the outside. Plates were used for the cover of the 1967-1968 Ryerson calendar. Information on the back pages of the calendar read, "The cover design by D.C. Milton includes a photographic representation of the Ryerson Medal, awarded to outstanding students of the Institute in the graduating year."

Letterpress Plate : Cartoon Character "Murph"

One letterplate press depicting "Murph", a character created by Ryerson Business Administration student Jim Dorward and used in the student publications between 1955-1957. In 1964 he was revived by Journalism student Len Coates.
Plate was used for the publication of the 1965 Ryersonia yearbook.

East Kerr Hall Scan-A-Graver lettterpress plate:

A scan-a-graver letter press plate made from plastic in two pieces showing East Kerr Hall with the radio tower. The plastic plats are mounted on several magnesium dies which are very heavy.
The scene was printed on the 1966-1967 Extension courses calendar.
