[Two Men and Their Horses]

Item consists of a black and white photograph of two men and two horses. The men are wearing hats, suspenders and boots, and are each holding a lead to a horse. The horses are brown with some white spots. They are standing in front of a building made of stone and wood, which appears to be a stable of sorts. The ground is dirt and rocks. The focus is sharp on the horses, but not much else. There is a 0.5 cm white border around the image.

Six gelatin silver prints on either side of a cardboard mount. Images of the parliament building in Victoria, B.C, loggers, Beacon Hill Park Victoria, B.C., an onion farm, a sweet pea farm and a harbor. Inscriptions in pen read, 'Onion Farm, California, Sweet Pea Farm'. Inscriptions in pencil read '$50 - 23' and 'SITA'.

Thick card album page with cloth guiard attached. One gsp on each side of page. Recto depcits statue and surrounding park landscape. Recto inscriptions in black ink: "Lincoln Monument Lincoln Park Chicago." Verso depicts cattle, barn, and fences. Verso inscriptions in blakc ink: "#47 Steers in stock yards, Chicago. Only 10 minutes more to live." Each side has decorative borders in black ink.
