2 copies of an oversized poster made by blowing up a letter written by Terrence Grier to All Members of the Ryerson Community on May 20, 1993: "It is my great pleasure to inform you that Bill 1, an Act to Amend the Ryerson Polytechnical Institute act, 1977, and the Universities Foundations Act, 1992, received its third and final reading in the Legislature on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 18th. Following the formality of royal assent and proclamation, we will be Ryerson Polytechnic University in fact and law. As a result, our 1993 graduands will be the first to receive degrees, diplomas and certificates bearing the new university designation at spring convocation ceremonies, June 16-18. In the meantime, may I extend my sincere appreciation to all of you for helping to make this historic occasion possible. I know that we all look forward to participating in the development of Ryerson Polytechnic University in the months and years ahead. Sincerely, Terrence Grier."
