Also in the file is a copy of "Canada Exchange" magazine, volume 2 number 2 published by the Canadian Bureau for International Education. This edition of the magazine has an article and photographs about Ryerson's involvement in the Trinidad and Tobago Hotel School.

File contains reports and findings from George Korey's site visits to the Trinidad and Tobago Hotel School between 1972-1974. Also included in the file are his notes and other materials relating to the 28th annual conference on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education - "Dynergy 1973 - A mandate to shape the future". The conference was held in San Diego, California August 5-8, 1973.
The Trinidad and Tobago Hotel School opened officially on Monday May 14, 1973. In attendance from Ryerson were Dr. George Korey, Vice President Administration and acting Dean of Business; and Dr. H. H. Yates, Vice President Academic. The file contains newspaper articles, photographs, an explanation about "Capsule Programs" offered by the school, news releases, and other materials related to the Hotel School.

Trinidad & Tobago hotel school
In September of 1972 Ryerson entered into an agreement with the Government of Canada, through the Canadian International Development Agency (C.I.D.A.) to provide technical and related assistance to the Government of Trinidad and Tobago for the establishment of a hotel training school, and the training of the faculty and staff to run it.
Sub-series consists of 49 files relating to the establishment of a hotel training school on one of the islands and contain correspondence, agreements, minutes, reports, financial data, personnel records, clippings, background materials, curriculum documents, and photographs.
Food and Hotel Administration 1st Year Students with Faculty and Staff photograph
An 8 x 10 black and white photograph of first year students in the Food Administration & Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Administration programs. Also in the photo are faculty and staff members, including the Director, Gladys Dobson. A number of individuals signed their names on the back of the print.
File contains graduating class photographs from the classes of 1974, 1975, and 1976. The 1974 class was the first class to receive the Bachelor of Applied Arts degree at convocation.
File contains black and white photographs of faculty and staff from Hospitality. Included are images of Dave Darker, David Worton, George Davidson, George Slavinski, Hrayr Berberoglu, Collin Swindlehurst, and others.

File contains photographs from the 1973 Hospitality Update student convention; visitor's from Iran and the University of Akron, November 1969; a Tourism seminar held November 30, 1972; HRIA receiving its Chapter Charter from the Hotel Sales Management Association, and a HRIA booth set up at an unidentified event.

Ryer's Inn 1985 - The Classics
The 5th annual Ryer's Inn - The Classics was held March 2, 1985. Included in the file is a press kit which includes information on the current and past Ryer's Inn galas, and a "Prelude to the Classics" menu from January 18, 1985.
Ryer's Inn 1984 - Murder on the Ryer's Inn Express
The annual Ryer's Inn gala was held March 3, 1984 and was called "Murder on the Ryer's Inn Express". Included in the file are two different press packages that include photographs and information about past Ryer's Inns' , press information, event information, and photographs. Also in the file is a menu from the "trial run" of the evening held January 19, 1984, and a sample invitation and RSVP card.

File contains materials related to the 3rd annual Ryer's Inn gala - "An Evening of Southern Hospitality". Included in the file are two press packages - sent to the Ryerson Forum and the Ryerson Rambler. The packages include information about the past two events, photographs from the 1982 event, a letter to the recipient, and a page explaining the event. Also in the file are a programme from the event, a proposed menu, a list of donors, and a survey.

Sub-series contains materials created for the 3rd annual Ryer's Inn - "An Evening of Southern Hospitality" held February 26, 1983. Included are videotapes of the night's activities, press kits, a programme, and photographs and printed materials regarding previous years' events.
A file of photographs taken during the Ryer's Inn 1981 Klondike Daze event. Photographs include the valet, dancing girls and band, food tables, entertainers, black jack tables, an aerial shot of the dining area, and one of the students working the event.

Ryer's Inn 1981 - Klondike Daze
Sub-series consists of materials related to the inaugural Ryer's Inn held February 28, 1981. Included are photographs of the event and a commemorative shot glass.
Ryer's Inn was organized and presented by students in the Hospitality and Tourism Management program. It was modeled after the Cornell University event "Ezra Cornell Hotel". Its purpose was to show members of the Hospitality Industry what Ryerson's program had to offer by showcasing its' students. The event is completely organized and executed by student's in the program, with faculty supervision. It's inaugural night was held February 28, 1981. Series contains information about Ryer's Inn galas held in 1981, 1983, 1984 and 1985.
School of Hospitality and Tourism Management
Fonds contains materials relating to all aspects of the Hospitality program at Ryerson. There are materials from the beginning of the program in 1951 and every decade since its inception but the majority of the materials date from 1970s and 1980s. Included are objects, photographs, audio-visual materials, graphic and textual materials.

Society of Engineering Technology Students (SETS)
Fonds consists of materials related to S.E.T.S including meeting minutes, the constitution, brochures, and other items.
It would appear that the society was created because of the Technology student's dissatisfaction with their representation with SAC, in 1967 or 1968. In Fall of 1969 they became the governing body for the Technology programs under the Student Union. S.E.T.S. appears to have been in existence until the mid 1970's.
