In 1986, Information Services was incorporated into the Department of Community Relations. In 1990, the Department of Development and Alumni Affairs was integrated with the Department of Community Relations to form the Department of Development, Alumni and Community Relations.
The Faculty of Law school was approved in February 2018 by the Law Society of Ontario. Applications will start being accepted in 2019, with the first students starting classes in the Fall of 2020.
RIOT is a comedy and music sketch show. Its first show was in 1950 with the students and staff from all parts of the university involved. In 1961 it became student run. In 1964 it appears that outside writers were brought in to write the script - all with Ryerson connected.

This fonds contains documents created by the Department of English. The majority of the records are administrative and academic in nature, focusing on internal correspondence, course syllabi and reading lists, budgetary information regarding the department, and faculty records. There are also a number of promotional posters and graphics created by the department to advertise their guest lectures, workshops, and the program in general. In addition, there are also several published books, primarily covering poetry and short story anthologies published by faculty members and students.
The job evaluation committee was formed in 1988 to evaluate all OPSEU job positions for equity - equal pay for equal work. The committee, made up of OPSEU and Ryerson staff, were mandated to develop and maintain a job evaluation system and a job evaluation plan, and the practices and procedures for implementation.
