Small heavy silver plate bowl. Made by John Round & Son Ltd and sold through Proctor Canada. The Wellesley Hospital coat of arms is engraved on one side of the bowls exterior.
Green bordered ceramic tile that is sectioned into 4 quarters. Each smaller square has a different plant or flower on it - shamrock, thistle, rose, and a leaves. Tile is supposed to represent flora of the British Isles - shamrock = Irelend; Rose = England; thistle = Scotland; and the leaves. Tiles were used around the fireplaces in the original hospital rooms in Wellesley's "Homewood" building. This tile was taken from the fireplace in room 20. A green felt backing has been added to the tile.
White and blue enamelware jug with measurement on inside for 40 oz, 1000 grams, and 2 pints. Front of jug has "Oz. 40 Gr. 1000" in blue and handle is blue.
Bausch & Lomb otoscope. Case hold base, 2 heads, a glass optical, and 6 other small pieces of the otoscope. Unsure as to whether of not set is complete.
Two decks of playing cards - one white with blue (54 cards) and the other blue with white (52 cards) - in a box. Cards and box have The Wellesley Hospital coat of arms on the front. The white and blue deck of cards has two extra - one blank and the other has instructions for contract bridge.
Small silver cup style trophy. Cup is silver and bottom is painted metal. Handles are on either side of the cup with twining patterned band around top of cup. Front has been engraved "For the Best Nurses in Toronto Christmas 1936 J. R. T."
