Photocopy of the Licence issued April 1, 1946, by the Department of Transport of Canada, to establish a Technical or Training School Station at 50 Gould St., which at this period of time was the site of the Toronto Training and Re-Establishment Institute. Ryerson Institute of Technology was officially opened in September of 1948 and it wasn't until November 22, 1949 that CJRT-FM was officially opened, becoming Canada's first educational radio station on the FM band.
