Ryerson Quinquennial letter opener

In the Fall of 1953, the School of Furniture and Interior Design manufactured letter openers to present to the Ryerson staff to mark the fifth anniversary of the founding of Ryerson Institute of Technology. The letter opener is wood, carved to resemble a sword with "Ryerson Quinquennial" in gold on the handle.
