Telidon sent out a press release and correspondence to Ryerson regarding submitting a proposal for programming for the disadvantaged. Ryerson's Department of Communication's Working Group on New Communications Technologies submitted a proposal.

File contains numbered memos from the Office of the Principal Howard Kerr and Report from the President memos from Fred Jorgenson. Kerr's memos were directed to all staff or teaching staff. Jorgenson's memos were to the whole extended Ryerson Community.

File contains correspondence (emails) sent and received by Donald Gillies in his role as Associate Director of the joint Ryerson-York graduate studies program Communications and Culture.

File contains a letter and a photocopy of the chapter co-authored by Hans Westerblom. Hans was a professor in the Photographic Arts department. The chapter was published in "Aspects of Non Verbal Communication", edited by Walberga von Raffler-Engel, and Bates Hoffer. Book was published by Trinity University in Texas.

FIle contains awards night agendas, handwritten notes, and correspondence relating to the yearly awards ceremony.

File contains memo, a letter of transmittal, transition procedures, a copy of the final report of the committee. The committee was formed by "memorandum of understanding - 6" of the agreement signed in 1992 by Ryerson, its Board of Governor and the RFA. It was comprised equally of members from the Board of Governors and the RFA. Committee members were Errol Aspevig, Dean of Arts; M. Novick, Office of V. P. Academic and School of Social Work; W. White, Dean of Engineering; L. Gray, V.P. Faculty Affairs; D. Cape, Economics professor; J. Panar, Computer Science professor; and T. Pristupa, Business Management professor.

The proposal was for the establishment of a centre, to be administered by Ryerson, to develop, implement, and co-ordinate industry based applied research in communications, computing and informatics.

A joint commitee was created in accordance with the agreement between the Ryerson Faculty Association and the Board of Governors. The final report was given April 6, 1970 and accepted by the RFA.

The Task Force to establish a Centre for the Study of Communication was assembled by Alberindo Sauro, the Dean of Applied Arts with a goal of establishing a centre that would integrate Journalism, RTA, Photographic Arts and Graphic Arts together. The task force consisted of Ryerson staff and faculty: Rennie Charles, J. L. Atkins, G. M. Bullock, D. F. Hawkes, D. C. Milton, B. Rooney, Alberindo Sauro, E. U. Schrader, John Twomey, and D. G. Williams; Ryerson students; and external members.
