Office of the Registrar

File contains records relating to the office of the Registrar. Included is student registration information, a cross reference list of old and new course numbers and titles, an exam supervision schedule, registrar's office newsletter, section reports, student grades and lists of important dates.

Joint RFA-BOG committee to investigate student evaluation of probationary instructors

A joint commitee was created in accordance with the agreement between the Ryerson Faculty Association and the Board of Governors. The final report was given April 6, 1970 and accepted by the RFA.
File contains two copies of the report of the committee on student evaluation of probationary instructors and two copies of the February 10, 1971 memo from Vice-President Academic Anthony Wilkinson to all chairmen and course directors abou the roll out of the process.

RISIS Advisory Committee

File contains correspondence, meeting minutes, and accompanying materials related to the Advisory Committee for RISIS - the Ryerson Integrated Student Information System.

Business Department

File contains curriculum documents, and general correspondence regarding the day to day running of the department, its classes and its faculty and staff.

Photographic Arts/Film and Photography Department

File contains records pertaining to the Photographic Arts, and Film and Photography department. Included in the file is a summary report regarding secure display space on campus; course descriptions and timetabling information; student show announcements; curriculum change documents; memos, including memo regarding name change from Photographic Arts to Film and Photography (December 4, 1979); floor plans of building; and other materials relating to the department.

Faculty/Staff memorandas

File contains all staff, faculty and community memoranda of varying topics. The majority of the memos were sent 1964-1965 by by W. B. S. Trimble, VP Faculty Affairs. There is one memo from 1969, and one from 1980.

Departmental Chairmen

File contains 2 copies of Chairmen's meeting minutes from September 3, 1964 and three memos sent to the departmental chairmen.

Interim report of a Task Force to establish a Centre for the Study of Communication at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute

The Task Force to establish a Centre for the Study of Communication was assembled by Alberindo Sauro, the Dean of Applied Arts with a goal of establishing a centre that would integrate Journalism, RTA, Photographic Arts and Graphic Arts together. The task force consisted of Ryerson staff and faculty: Rennie Charles, J. L. Atkins, G. M. Bullock, D. F. Hawkes, D. C. Milton, B. Rooney, Alberindo Sauro, E. U. Schrader, John Twomey, and D. G. Williams; Ryerson students; and external members.

File contains one copy of the interim report created for Vice-President Academic Anthony Wilkinson.
