Documents include: image captions for photographs of individuals, products, and war-related munitions work; picture files for photographs for the 1962 annual report; correspondence with external individuals requesting usage rights; correspondence regarding the Kodak commemorative stamp photographs, product images, and Kodak Ltd.'s coronation photographs; and photography release forms. Most records in file were unfortunately divorced from their accompanying photographs at some point during their life cycle.

File contains press releases and press kits prepared by Eastman Kodak Company communications department between 1976 and 1989. Most press releases pertain to Kodak products and provide tips on various forms of photography and subject matter. However, some releases pertain to events in Kodak's corporate history, such as corporate anniversaries. Eastman Kodak's Corporte Information department changed its name to Corporate Communicatons in 1979 and then to Communications and Public Affairs between 1983 and 1987.

Item consists of a 2-volume compilation of the proceedings of the International Conference Linking Research and Practice, produced by the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, edited by David Corson and Stephen B. Lawton. The conference was sponsored by Kodak Canada Inc. and the report was "produced using Kodak Graphic Arts Products." Kodak Canada president, Ronald Morrison, wrote the foreword to each volume.

Photographs series

This series contains photographic albums, b&w negatives and prints, colour negatives and prints, colour slides, glass plate negatives and transparencies originating from the Kodak Canada Corporate Archives and Heritage Collection. These materials were used both as forms of documentation of the history of the company at various sites including Kodak Heights, Brampton, Montreal and Vancouver, as well as functioned as a working collection to use for promotional efforts. Highlights include: documentation of the construction of the Kodak Heights site circa 1915 in a series of commissioned albums and loose prints; documentation of the various operations related to the photographic and moving image industry including paper, film, and camera production and processing; marketing campaigns for digital initiatives; and a reference slide collection used by the Kodak Canada Corporation.

Photographic materials have been organized by format and within by the order created when processed in 2005. This arrangement was loosely based on the Kodak Canada's original organization of the files in their archives index. Files of photographs organized by the Kodak Canada Archives Index associated with the collection have been kept together, with the individual file numbers and index titles referenced in the Notes field of each record. Previously assigned reference numbers are indicated in the Archivist's Comments fields.

Kodak Heights photograph albums

File contains six photograph albums documenting the development of the Kodak Heights property and the construction of the first Kodak Heights buildings during 1913-1916. These albums are consistent in their presentation and physical characteristics, including bindings, construction, and gelatin silver prints and includes inscribed captions in the lower right corner with the title and dates.

Each album is organized by building or site with indexed tabs to indicate the building or construction project. Prints are arranged chronologically within each section, presenting a detailed progression of the building projects from start to finish. Kodak Heights buildings documented include: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 as well as site projects including reservoirs, chimney, sewage disposal, trunk sewage, tunnels, plant nursery. Highlights include a series of images of the Canadian Battalion at Kodak Heights during WWI.

Several images are printed from the glass plate negatives in the collection.

Kodak x-ray demonstration

File contains negatives featuring images of Kodak x-ray equipment and demonstrations of its use. There are examples including an x-ray image of a bell, a man at a monitor examining a human torso x-ray, men standing in a room equipped to take x-rays, and a woman preparing to be x-rayed and lying in an x-ray machine. Additionally, there is an image of an older Kodak building, of a box of one dozen Eastman Dupli-tized X-ray Films, and of a laboratory next to a window.
