Superbuild City Hall display

Thirteen foam core posters produced to be shown together as a display celebrating the history and future of Ryerson. Panels detail various eras in Ryerson's history. Also includes a small amount of textual records (correspondence, notes) detailing the City hall super build display.

49 Ryerson certificates and diplomas, divided into two files: blank/template certificates and diplomas, and certificates and diplomas linked to specific individuals.

Guest registers

Registers used by the Archives to record visitors and researchers. Although the Archives was established in 1971 a register was not initiated until April 1972. The initial register was previously used to record guests at two separate events at Ryerson : Tenth Anniversary Banquet, February 20, 1959; and the Founders' Dinner, February 12, 1965.

President's Task Force on Instructional Communications Equipment - Cyclical Replacement Program

Minutes, reports and correspondence relating to the President's Cyclical Equipment Replacement Program, as received by O. Von Boegen, committee member and head of Purchasing. Material includes minutes of the Committee from 1977-1979, an interim report dated April 25, 1977, a final report dated February, 1978 and a report entitled, "Pilot Project - Stage One, The objectives of the Task Force were to examine the lack of a firm policy and time frames for the cyclical replacement of instructional communications equipment within the Institute and to recommend an appropriate policy and program to remedy the situation.

Departmental documentation files

File contains the Purchasing Department's departmental documentation files. It includes vacancy notices, flyers, notices, documents related to the issue of surplus goods, newspaper clippings, and a report on purchasing procedures.

Governance and Gridlock - solving the problem for 21st century city regions

File contains 2 copies of Governance Gridlock, the publication that came out of the December 11 and 12, 2012 symposium held at Ryerson. Publication is edited by Ryerson distinguished visiting scholar and special advisor Anne Golden, and Sophie Knowles, and Urban and Regional Planning graduate student.

Ryerson Rambler magazine

This Ryerson publication was mailed to the Ryerson community and alumni. The collection is not complete ; there are no issues for 1972 and a few issues appear to be missing from the 1960s.

In 1997 the name was changed to Ryerson Magazine, with the first issue appearing in the Spring of that year. A further name change occurred in 2022 to Toronto Met University Magazine (see Related materials below for a link.)
