This trophy was awarded to Architecture students by the Alumni Federation for the best entry in the Float Competition during the annual Fall Parade, 1956.
Large wooden base with a silver figure (broken), silver bowling pins and lane. Silver and brass name plates. “Architectural Club Bowling League”. Winners range from 1956-1968.

Twelve portrait photographs have tiny holes in the upper corners through which the photos were threaded with a fine thread. All but one image is either annotated with the sitter's name or signed by the sitter. These would have been shared amongst the class of '24 as momentoes. The tiny photographs on page 3 of the photo album pages maybe smaller versions of shared portraits. These portraits include :

The contents of the Series originally belonged to Harvey Curry, a 1924 graduate of the Toronto Normal School. Included is a brief handwritten biography of Harvey Curry (photocopy of the original) and a copy of his obituary from December 1990, as well as photographs taken by and/or given to Harvey during his time at the Toronto Normal School.
Included in the donation is a 1923/1924 Toronto Normal School yearbook. It has been arranged to the yearbook Series, RG 16.02 with notations it originally belonged to Harvey Curry. A link is provided below. Also included in the yearbook Series is a yearbook that apparently belonged to Velma Quinn, but donated with the Harvey Curry records.
The short biography of Harvey Curry appears to have been written by Harvey's wife, Elsie [nee van Nostrand] from her memories and likely those of Harvey. Harvey was born in July 1905 to William and Tilly Curry and, although he graduated from the Toronto Normal School, he discovered teaching was not for him. After the Holland Marsh was drained for crops (between 1925 and 1930), Harvey began acquiring and selling much needed onion bags and bushel baskets to farmers. He was rejected for the war effort in 1939/40 for health reasons and instead opened a store in Bradford called, Bradford Seed House, grew the business and also ran the local catalogue order depot for the Robert Simpson Company (later Simpson-Sears catalogue). Harvey and Elsie had one child. Harvey died in December 1990.
Collection contains books published by Ryerson Press in Toronto between 1862 and 1971. Subjects include educational texts and guides, Canadian history, religion, fiction and poetry. The collection also includes 3 boxes of records from Ryerson Press, including authors contracts, correspondence, and memorandums.
File contains one b&w photograph of Ryerson president Terry Grier and six photographs of Ryerson president Walter Pitman. All photographs are mounted on foamcore.
This file contains Letter of Intent, School of Child and Youth Care, regarding the implementation of a 4-year Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care degree. Letter was printed from the Child and Youth Care website in 2004.
File contains programs for the annual awards night held in April or May and features the presentation of undergraduate awards including the Emily Durst, Nancy C. Sprott, Children's Rights, Francis G. Hare, and School of Child and Youth Care awards.
File contains digital copies of the School and Child and Youth Care newsletter and online blog. It was initially distributed 3 times per year and then 2 times per year. There are also 2 hard copies of the Summer/Fall 2009 newsletter. In April 2011 the newsletter was replaced by the blog to "make it easier for students, staff, faculty, and the community to communicate and share information."
One copy of "Tibacimowin: Gathering of Stories" with Judy Finlay and the Honourable Landon Pearson OC. The book was published by the Provincial Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health at Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Stories were gathered from Elders and community leaders from Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation, Sandy Lake First Nation, Mishkeegogamang Ojibway First Nation, Fort Severn First Nation (Washaho Cree Nation), Eabametoong First Nation, Nibinamik First Nation, and Weagamow First Nation (North Caribou Lake First Nation).
Three copies of the exhibition catalogue for "An exploration of Child Labour Through Visual Art". The exhibit was curated by Sabaht Anis and produced and disseminated by Dr. Kiaras Gharabaghi, the John C. Eaton Chair of Social Innovation and Director of the School of Child and Youth Care. The exhibit was held at Saba Art Gallery in Toronto in the September of 2019.
