Sub-sub-series consists of records pertaining to the purchase, construction, opening, and closing of the Kodak Plant in Brampton, Ontario from 1968 to 1987. Kodak purchased land for the site in 1968. Construction on the first building--the Distribution Centre--was completed in 1971. Kodak closed down operations of the Brampton plant in 1987 as part of its "Toronto Expansion Program," designed to consolidate Kodak Canada's facilities at its expanded Kodak Heights site. Sub-sub-series includes correspondence, press and publicity records, records pertaining to the planning of open houses and other events, news clippings, construction orders and contracts, and records pertaining to the Toronto Expansion Program.

File includes two letters written March 13 and 14, 1916, by Kodak Canada Engineer in Charge, C.O. Flint (a.k.a C.K. Flint), detailing the use of Kodak Heights building #5 as barracks for the 127th battalion during World War I. Also includes a magazine clipping pertaining to the same subject and two photocopies of the "Kodak barracks -- Mt. Dennis Standing Orders" by Lt. Col. F.F. Clarke.

File contains correspondents and construction schedules pertaining to contracts completed by the C.E. Deakin Company, Ltd. of Mount Dennis, Ontario from 1914 to 1916. The company was contracted to perform a number of tasks in the construction of Kodak Heights, including work on the Power house (building #1) and the railway trestle. File includes correspondence with the Canadian Inspection & Testing Laboratories, which performed testing on cement used by the C.E. Deakin, as well as with T. Pringle & Sons, which appears to have collaborated with C.E. Deakin on at least one contract.

Correspondents include Canadian Kodak Co., Ltd. and numerous contractors. Work on the building began on March 24, 1939 when Cedarvale Tree Experts moved trees in preparation for construction. The building was completed in 1940.
