Black, red, blue enameled versions produced about 1935 are rarer. Item has its original box and triangular viewfinder, but the lens cap is missing.

Item is a four-lens, three-dimensional camera, originally developed by the Nimslo company, the Nishika copies were created after Nimslo was taken over by Nishika in 1989. This style of camera was named for the original Hit camera design that inspired many similar cameras. This design is a chrome and black leatherette construction. Hit cameras were first produced in post WWII Japan, and were sold for about $0.50 each. Miniature accessories, such as filters, lens hoods and leather carrying cases, were also available. It is not known if this camera is related to the Crystar company.
