Series contains strategic planning documents for the Business Division, Faculty of Business and Ted Rogers School of Management. Included are individual goals for the departments and schools under the Business umbrella. The majority of the documents are academic plan related.

Faculty of Business Strategic Academic Plan draft 1989/90

File contains a copy of the draft 1989-1990 Faculty of Business Strategic Academic Plan submitted by Dean of Business Timothy Reid to Vice-President Academic Terry Grier for the APG (Academic Planning Group) meeting held June 22-23, 1988. Included in the plan are individual academic plans for each School (Business Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Office and Administrative Studies) submitted by their chairmen - S. Hulbert, B, Patterson, and P. Williams. Copies of the draft were also submitted to the other members of the APG as well.

Commerce Times Newspaper

The Commerce Times newspaper was a School of Business focused newspaper that was produced as a collaboration between the Ted Rogers School of Management, The School of Journalism, and the School of Graphic Communications Management. The first edition was published November 11, 2008. The last publication date appears to have been March 16, 2010.

The Ted Rogers School of Management is home to the TEDxRyersonU talk hosted annually. The first conference was held November 27, 2010.

Distinguished Lectures

Law, Business, Politics - The Real World speaker series

The Department of Law and Business at the Ted Rogers School of Management organized the "Law, Business, Politics - The Real World" speaker series in collaboration with Ryerson's Distinguished Counsel in Residence Ralph E. Lean. The series ran for 4 years (2012-2015).
The file contains announcements and listings of speakers in the series.

Research and Scholarly Report

The Research and Scholarly Report was a bi-annual publication put out by the Faculty of Business to profile the work of faculty members in the School of Administration and Information Management, Business Management, and Hospitality and Tourism Management. It was first published in September of 1992 and last published in September of 1996. File contains copies of the newsletters Volume 1, Number 1 to Volume 5, Number 1.

File also contains 2016 Research Report titled "Think Act Connect."

Included in the file is correspondence regarding staffing, hotel school in Columbo, Sri Lanka, a name tag and conference materials for the Society of Industrial Accountants of Canada golden anniversary conference, and a letter from Charles Temple to the Ryerson Community regarding his leaving Ryerson to work with Hotel School in Jamaica for Ryerson and C.I.D.A.

Student Awards

Series consists of materials from a variety of student awards ceremonies held for the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM).

Curriculum Committee

The curriculum committee was formed in 1960 by the Executive Council of the Business Division.
File contains a summary of conclusions from the Business Curriculum Committee dated November 1, 1961 and sent to all department heads. Also in the file is an undated (circa 1973-1975 based on group members) minutes from the Curriculum Review Committee for Business Administration.

Senior Lecturers

File contains a memo and accompanying draft proposal regarding the selection of Senior Lecturers criteria drafted by the Business Division.

Student Services Resource Centre

The Student Services Resource Centre in the Ted Rogers School of Management (now called the Academic Success Centre) is located in TRS 2-168 in the Business Building at 55 Dundas Street West.
The file contains 2 copies of two hand-outs outlining what services the centre provides and listing other resources available to students on campus.

MBA Case Teams Success Celebration

As part of Ryerson's Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program students are encouraged to compete together in national and international case competitions and the annual MBA games.
File contains a photograph of the 2013 Case teams with Faculty members. The members are wearing white and red scarves. The matting around the photograph has the University Crest at the top and "Ted Rogers School of Management MBA Case Teams Success Celebration February 4, 2013" written under the photo on the bottom left side. Sheldon Levy signed the matting.

Ted Rogers School of Management Undergraduate and Graduate Awards

The Ted Rogers School of Management Undergraduate and Graduate awards night was first held November 12, 2007. The first awards handed out were: TRSM Undergraduate Entrance Scholarship; TRSM Undergraduate Continuing Award; TRSM Graduate Entrance Scholarship; TRSM Graduate Entrance Award; TRSM Business Leadership Award. In 2008 it changed to be called "The Rogers Awards".
File contains: programme, winners list, commemorative photograph with signed matting, and photographs from the 2007 event; ticket, programme, and DVD of photographs from the 2007, 2008, and 2009 events; 2 photographic prints from the 2009/10 event; and a programme from the 2011 event.
