At the time of the 1979 photograph she was the President of the the Graduate Assistants' Association (which would later become Local 4 of the Canadian Union of Education Workers - CUEW). One of the photographs was published in the January 25, 1980 edition of the school's Forum newsletter. At the time of the 1987 image she was the Vice-President of the CUEW.

Consists of bicycle photographs in various formats, including instant photography, 35 mm colour slides, prints, black and white and colour negatives and a Viewmaster slide on cycling and skateboarding. Includes several prints of Shields' cycling ephemera collection, including bicycle frames, posters and other related items.
File consists of four black and white prints of a bicycle manufacturing company in Lynn, Massachusetts. Two prints are close-ups of welding machines and the other two prints are different angles of inside the factory.
File consists of 33 black and white prints of various attractions in London including Ludgate Hill and St. Paul's Cathedral, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, British Museum, Trafalgar Square,, Warwick Castle, etc.

Former Vancouver Sun photojournalists, Art Jones and Ray Munro, incorporated artray limited in 1948. Jones and Munro were only in business together for less than a year, as Jones bought Munro out later in 1948. Munro went on to become a columnist, a parachute jumper, and a hypnotist, among other things. Jones later went on to produce and host "Art Jones & Company", a weekly feature on SHAW TV, where he chatted with business, entertainment, community and political leaders.
