Includes newspaper clippings from the Toronto Star Weekly of July 17, 1916 detailing the use of building 5 of Kodak Heights as barracks for the 127th battalion, with an accompanying list detailing the names of officers pictured. Also included is a photocopied letter to then-general manager of Canadian Kodak, John G. Palmer, from an officer of the 2nd Battalion regarding the transfer of J[ames] W. Spence from England to France. Spence was an active executive member of Canadian Kodak Co., Ltd., eventually acting as chairman of the board from 1955-1957.

File contains miscellaneous overviews and histories of Kodak, written and used as reference material by Kodak Canada's communications department between 1958 and 2004. Includes brief background accounts and "fast facts," as well as "Kodak Canada Milestones" documents, which provide year-to-year accounts of Kodak Canada's activities. Most documents provide general corporate information, but some cover more specific topics, including the Ryerson Chair in Photography, Kodak's Toronto Expansion Program, the history of the Kodak camera, Kodak's offices in Quebec, Ottawa, and Edmonton, and the history of the Kodak Heights Power House (building #1). Many of the histories were written by Mel Rubinstein, Company Information Specialist, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs. Corporate histories in this file appear to have been written retroactively and can thus be differentiated from Kodak Canada's "Corporate History Notes," which were written on an ongoing basis and provided day-to-day accounts of the company's life.

Documents include: image captions for photographs of individuals, products, and war-related munitions work; picture files for photographs for the 1962 annual report; correspondence with external individuals requesting usage rights; correspondence regarding the Kodak commemorative stamp photographs, product images, and Kodak Ltd.'s coronation photographs; and photography release forms. Much of the file consists of Kodak Canada's Talking Points/Point de Vue initiative, an internal communication system designed to quickly disseminate information throughout the organization. File also includes notes for regional visits, notes and transpariencies for an Image Check meeting from January 20, 1995 and an SGM IS managers meeting from April 26, 1995, and other materials. Topics include Kodak Canada's history, organization, strategic vision, quality policy, customer satisfaction measures, operating efficiency, and revenues.

File contains packaging for Kodak photofinishing--including envelopes for mail-order processing and developed negatives--from roughly 1907 to 1997. File also includes product packaging and instructions for Canadian Kodak's Azo developing paper from between 1909 and 1911. Azo is a silver chloride contact printing paper originally produced by Photo Materials Company of Rochester, NY. This latter company was purchased by Kodak in 1898, which then began producing and distributing Azo paper under its own name.

Records include notes, correspondence, advertising mock-ups and clippings, press releases and press kits, communications-related invoices, drafts of press releases, articles, and advertising copy, and other ephemera. Records pertain to the creation of advertising and publicity, event planning, community engagement, and corporate sponsorship. There was significant crossover between the activities and personnel of the Corporate Communications and Public Affairs department and those of the Kodak Heritage Collection and Museum, particularly surrounding Kodak Canada's centennial celebrations in 1999.

Eastman Kodak repair parts lists and repair service information

File consists of three 3-ring binders, created between 1929 and 1943, containing detailed, illustrated instructions and equipment lists designed to serve as reference material for those responsible for repairing Kodak still and motion picture cameras. Information contained within the binders was created and distributed on a subscription basis by Eastman Kodak Company. Subscribers would receive periodic updates of information, which could be added to the binders over time.

File contains Kodak-issued portable 13-period calendars from 1936 to 1989 and 12-month calendars from 1990 to 1993. The 13-period calendar or "International fixed calendar" was devised by Moses B. Cotsworth in 1902 and instituted at Kodak from 1928 to 1989. Some years missing.

File contains scripts of addresses delivered by Kodak Canada president and general manager, Ronald C. Morrison, in 1988 and 1992.
