Item consists of a Cine-Kodak Magazine 8 Camera. It was introduced in the United States in 1946 and manufactured until 1955. It is a clockwork-driven camera capable of running at 16, 26, 32 and 64 frames per second. It has a Kodak Cine Ektanon Lens 13mm f/1.9. The lens is interchangeable and the wheel at the top of the camera is used to alter the viewfinder image according to the focal length. On the side is a universal guide for different types of daylight.

Introduced by Kodak in 1971, XL (eXisting Light) was incorporated with Super 8 to use their new High Speed Ektachrome Super 8 colour film and was designed to be able to film in as low light conditions as possible. The lens aperture is F1.2 compared to the super 8 normal of F1.8 and the film intermittent mechanism film pulldown speed was increased to allow a shutter open angle of 230 degrees compared to a typical 160 degrees previously. No light was diverted away from the film for a reflex viewfinder or TTL metering. The Kodak XL cameras had a unique "binocular" shape allowing easy two handed shooting.

The larger box is unopened, and contains a magazine for loading the film into the camera, as well as 50 ft of film. It is stamped with a use-by date Dec 1946. The smaller box has been opened. It contains 100 ft of film in a small black cannister as well as a folded sheet with instructions. This box is stamped "Simpsons Cameras Toronto" in blue on the back, and with a use-by date of Apr 1943. Both films were manufactured in Rochester, NY but have stickers indicating they are to be returned to Canadian Kodak Co. Limited in Toronto for processing.

It is in a black hard leather case lined with red curduroy also containing the Polaroid flash model 268, 2 packs of Polaroid print mounts and 3 Polaroid envelopes for ordering prints, enlargements, and accessories. The camera is a folding bellows instand camera with automatic exposure that used 100-series Packfilm. It has a 2 element plastic lens and a non-folding zone focusing system. It retailed for $60 when it was first released.

Premo cameras were manufactured by Rochester Optical and Camera company, which was bought out by Eastman Kodak in 1903. Date based on inscription: "Manufactured by Eastman Kodak Co. successor to Rochester Optical Co. Rochester, N.Y., U.S.A. Canada 25-03 British Pat. Apr. 21-03 France Pat. Apr. 18-03 German C.R.P. June 7 - 1905 U.S.A. Pat. May 19-03." (Eastman Kodak changed the name of the Rochester Optical Company to the Rochester Optical Division in 1907). Item is a brown handheld electric view master first manufactured by Swayer's Inc and first introduced at the New York World Fair (1939-1940). Once pressed down the lever on the side of the viewer will rotate the reel one frame at a time once pressed. Unlike previous view masters, this view master comes with a built in back light attached to an electrical cord. Once turned on the back light illuminates transparencies on view. Item is made of plastic and metal. Reel has 7 diametrical, 16 mm colour transparencies of The Atlas of Human Anatomy, Head and Neck.

Kodak Reflection-Transmission Color Densitometer Model RT

Item consists of a Kodak Reflection-Transmission Color Densitometer Model RT. When using the transmission mode, the densitometer can be used to measure the density of a negative, and when using the reflection mode, it can measure the saturation of a resulting print. This allows for a photographer to choose the correct paper and exposure to make prints with, without the need to experiment with test strips.

Kodak Colorburst 300

Item is a snapshot camera for instant photographs using Kodak PR10 instant film. It was originally sold for $75.00 .

This model was part of a series that was Kodak's response to the successful instant cameras produced by Polaroid. A patent infringement case was brought against Kodak by Polaroid in 1977 and was finally settled in 1986, in Polaroid's favour. Kodak recalled all their instant cameras, offering customers a new camera or a rebate in exchange. A further, class action, lawsuit by consumers followed, resulting in Kodak further offering cash or credit for the return of the Kodak nameplate.

Item is a Kodak Trimprint 940. It is an instant camera that used film format HS 144-10 and cost $44.95 when released. Anyone who owned this camera was offered a rebate if the camera's nameplate was returned to Kodak, when Kodak lost a case against Polaroid and was forced to withdraw its instant cameras from the market for infringement of Polaroid's patent. Hence, many of this model of camera will be found without the 940 Kodak Trimprint nameplate. It was the successor to the Kodamatic 940.
