Item is a white cabinet card with brown letterpress at bottom, "H. Yeo" and "169 UNION ST/ PLYMOUTH." At the bottom centre, decorative etching of two medals from the Photographic Society of Great Britain with the dates 1853 and 1875. Text surrounding the medals reads "HIGHEST AWARD/ 1892/ SOCY OF GT. BRITAIN". Photograph is a portrait of a woman in embroidered blouse with broach, and puffed sleeved jacket seated in wooden chair with furs piled beside her on the left. On verso, black letterpress reading "H. Yeo Photographer/ 169,./ Union Street,/ PLYMOUTH./ REG. C.E. & C." At top left, handwritten in ink, "No. 44546g(?)" and at mid-right, also handwritten, "Aunt Blanche/ Maddiford".
