Biographical history
Albert Eugene Fradelle was a London photographer and portrait painter, born in St. Marylebone in 1840, he married Susannah M. Clerkenwell and had three sons and one daughter. He ran several studios throughout his career: 19 Langham Place, Regent Street, Westminster, Aka Portland Bazaar, (1864 -1868); 230 Regent Street, Westminster, successors to Fradelle & Marshall (1876 - 1877); 62 Cheapside, City of London (1878 - 1879); Municipal & County Portrait Gallery, Succeeded by Brown, Barnes & Bell (opened November 1879); 246 Regent Street, Westminster 1878 - October 1884. Fradelle was a member of the Royal Photographic Society from 1870 onward.
