Pages are an off-white colour with decorative gold embossing and illustrative floral detail. Photographs slide in between two pieces of card that make each page and hold them in place.

Photographs are mostly portraits of one or two figures taken in studios across England, primarily around London, in towns and cities that include Brighton, Luton, Woburn, Tavistock, Bedford, Northampton and London.
