Robert G. Ward fonds

Robert George Ward graduated from Ryerson in 1954 with a diploma in Photographic Arts. Ward was born in Hamilton, Ontario, where he attended Central Secondary School. While at Ryerson, Ward was a member of the camera club and the rifle team.

Fonds consists of photographic negatives taken of Ryerson campus while Ward was a student.

Ryerson Community - photograph display boards

File contains three display boards generated by Richard Strong - Steven Moorhead Limited for Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in June of 1976. Two of the boards feature 26 composite photographic prints showing various areas around campus. The third board features an aerial view of the campus with a photo key showing the geographic locations of the images shown on the other two boards. The campus views shown include:

Scenes of Ryerson

File consists of twelve copies of 35mm colour slides from the personal collection of Bob Ward, 1954 Photographic Arts graduate. Includes: #1-2: Shots taken on Gould St. (1) Entrance gate at the corner of Gould & Church Sts. (2) Ryerson Hall#3-7: Shots of a Ryerson group parading from the Guelph train station to the Guelph campus for a Homecoming football game.#8-12: Shots taken during Ryerson student initiation week.

Eaton's album of Toronto views : [photographs]

File consists of two sets of 4x5 copy negatives and two sets of 11x14 copy prints of three black-and-white photographs from an album of Toronto photographic scenes. The negatives and one set of the copy prints are placed in the file folder while the second set of prints has been framed and displayed in the Archives public area. Subject matter includes: the Toronto Normal School ca. 1900; Allan Gardens ca. 1900; and Yonge Street ca. 1900.
