The Ryersonian of the Year award, instituted in 1975 by the RFA, continues to be administered by the Professional Affairs Committee. It is open to all faculty, staff, and general public for contributions to the Ryerson community.
Professor of the Year, awarded for excellence and contributions to the winner's profession, was awarded 1981 to 2004, being replaced by the Career Achievement award.
