All the photographs have notes written on the back sides. One photograph has "Mr Lumbers" handwritten in pencil and "Mal. de. mer Sunday" handwritten in ink. Another has "Lumbers" and "1b" handwritten in pencil and "who has the camera?" handwritten in ink. The last photograph has "Miss Dunetoon" and "46" handwritten in pencil and "Crossing the Bar" handwritten in ink.
