Item is a portrait of seven men. Stamp on back of card reads, 'F.H. Denison, Photographer, Dealer in Picture Frames, Chromos, Oil paintings, Stereoscopic Views, Albums, Wall Pockets, Brackets, &c. Court St. Fergus Falls, Minn.'

Miscellaneous album

Item consists of an album that is beige with a linear, green, geometric design and brown tape along the spine. It is held together with black string. Pages are green. Photographs are loose. Other loose accompanying material includes ink, pencil and colour sketches, various postcards.

Most photographs are from Toronto, Ontario. 1 photograph shows the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir at the Peace Festival in 1919. There is a publication with a Plan of York Minster Sh3wing the Architectural Styles from 1931. 1 photograph of Sir Geo Scott Roberston, M.P.

Locations include: Hamilton, Ontario; New York City, New York; Boston Massachusetts; Bradford, England; York, England; and Yorkshire, England.

Dates include: 1906, 1907, 1908, 1912, 1926, 1931.

Cabinet card and tintype album

Item consists of a dark blue album with the words "Scenes By the Way" written in white ink on the cover. Pages are grey with cutouts to slide in and hold photographs. Photographs consist of cartes de visite, cabinet cards and tintypes and are either loose or glued onto the pages. Some have captions written in fading white ink.
Photographs were taken at studios in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; New Westminster, British Columbia; Summerside, Prince Edward Island; Ottawa, Ontario; and Chicago, Illinois, and all consist of single-figure portraits.

Ornate carte de visite album

Brown leather cover with inset star surrounded by gold embossed patterns and blue beads. Spine also has embossed design and letters- "Photographs." Two gold clasps decorated with gold ribbons and rings. Inside cover has pink and gold pattern. Title page and index page included. White pages with window openings and gold borders. Page edges gilded and embossed. Some hand tinting on tintypes.

Item is a cream coloured card with gold border and photograph of a man, bearded. Inscription in ink at bottom, "Wm H Warner/ Odell, Ill". On verso, inside a decorative peach-coloured drawn frame, in black letterpress, "D.P. GROVES,/ PHOTOGRAPHER,/ ANN ARBOR, MICH." On verso, a "D" appears handwritten on card.

Portrait of young soldier in Iowa National Guard

Item is a cream coloured cabinet card with gold letterpress at bottom, "G. Dahms, BRADY ST./ Bet. 2nd and 3rd/ DAVENPORT,/ IOWA." Photograph shows a young man (same as in 2008.001.159) against studio backdrop with tropical plants. Man wears uniform of the Iowa National Guard with carbine belt and insignia of two rifles with the letter "B" on the hat.

Item is a cream coloured cabinet card with gold letterpress at bottom edge, "Will D. Baldwin,/ 503 TOWER AVE.,/ 352 2nd ST.,/ SUPERIOR CITY,/ WISCONSIN." Photograph shows a man in suit seated on an upholstered chair with a woman in outdoor jacket, straw hat and holding a closed umbrella at her side, stands beside him. The photograph is taken inside against a studio backdrop of a painted mantel and low paneled wall.

Item consists of a cream cabinet card with bronze embossed border and text at bottom, "Blanks & Co./ CLAY ST./ VICKSBURGH, MISS." At the centre of the text, a design with the letters "B" "&" "C" intertwined. Photograph of a young boy seated on a stone bench in white belted dress with wide collar and a straw hat at his side. On verso, artist's stamp with decoration of a paint palette, eye with sun's rays, and camera. Text reads "Blanks & Co./ PORTRAITS/ VICKSBURGH,/ MISS./ Clay Street." At top edge, handwritten in black ink, "To Lutie(?), from/ Thos. M. Wade(?) Jr./ age 2 years/ 3 months".

Item consists of a cream coloured cabinet card with gold letterpress at bottom. At the left the text "Brown" is surrounded by a design of artist's palette and brushes. On the right, "STERLING, ILL./ 10 EAST THIRD ST." Photograph is a portrait of a young man in high starched collar with a vertical stripe and a floral embroidered ascot. He wears an open jacket and waistcoat. On verso, handwritten in blue ink, "Roy Hoak".
