Names of individuals have been lightly added in pencil, clockwise from top: [illeg.], Palmer, Lusker(?), none given, none given, [illeg.], Douglass." Across bottom, also in pencil, "Med. Faculty Mich. University 1868". On verso, in black letterpress, at centre, "R.D. PALMER,/ PHOTOGRAPHER,/ And Portrait Painter,/ Huron Street, East of Cook's Hotel,/ ANN ARBOR, MICH." And below, "Negatives preserved, Copies enlarged in India Ink or Oil."
