Biografie
Bonnie M. Patterson is an academic administrator and former Dean of the Faculty of Business (1995) at Ryerson University. Patterson earned her BA and MLS from the University of Western Ontario. Before becoming Dean at Ryerson, she taught in and chaired the University's School of Administration and Information Management. In 2008, she became the President and CEO of the Council of Ontario Universities (COU), a position she also held from 1995 to 1998. She was President and Vice Chancellor of Trent University from 1998 to 2009 and continues to hold a professorial position in Business Administration there. Dedicated to international education, Patterson has spearheaded several initiatives extending from the UK to Italy, Kenya and South Africa. She continues this work with the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) to develop a composite model for benchmarking university sustainability. She is a recipient of the Order of Canada and the Order of Ontario and was awared an honorary doctorate from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University in October of 2014.

File contains two memos: one dated July 30, 1991 announcing the hiring of a new director for the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management; and the other dated June 7, 1994 announcing the appointment of Dr. Michael Mayo to the position of Associate Dean, School of Business Management.
