Item is a cream coloured gold edged cabinet card. Photograph affixed with woman in velvet jacket with elaborate lace neckline, leaning against flower-covered rock in studio setting with birch trees painted on a backdrop. She holds a copy of Picturesque Canada Vol II and displayed to the right are a cabinet card, a conch shell and a straw hat with flowers. On verso, in red ink, an artist's palette and brushes are depcited with the text "95/ Windham St./ Guelph/ Marshall."

Each card has a piece of glassine tissue covering the photo inside.
