In Focus was a roughly bimonthly internal publication intended to communicate the activities of Kodak Canada and its employees. In Focus ran from May 1986 to April 1994, at which time it was succeeded by the publication Kodakery Canada. File includes vol. 4, no. 1 (Jan. 1989) to vol. 9, no. 4 (Apr. 1994).

The full lineage of internal publications for Kodak Canada employees ran as follows: At Kodak Heights was succeeded by Kodak in 1936. In 1955, the name was changed to Canadian Kodakery. In 1975, the name was changed again to Kodak Canada News. In 1986, this publication was succeeded by In Focus; and in 1994, the name changed again to its final title, Kodakery Canada.

File consists of bound and unbound issues of The Photo Finisher, published by Eastman Kodak Company, from 1927 to 1930 and from 1946 to 1959. Launched in 1927, the publication was targeted toward developers and printers of Kodak film products. File includes: vol. 1, no. 2 to vol. 4, no. 6 and vol. 18, no. 1 to vol. 31, no. 4. Some issues missing.

Graflex catalogues

File contains catalogues, brochures, price lists and other promotional materials featuring Graflex cameras and accessories. Catalogues span the years 1925 to 1939, with some years missing. Graflex cameras were manufactured by the Folmer & Schwing Division of Eastman Kodak Co. The Folmer & Schwing Company was acquired by Eastman Kodak in 1905, forming the Folmer & Schwing Division of Eastman Kodak in 1907. In 1926, Eastman Kodak Co. divested itself of this division and the Folmer Graflex Corporation began operating independently.

Eastman Kodak repair parts lists and repair service information

File consists of three 3-ring binders, created between 1929 and 1943, containing detailed, illustrated instructions and equipment lists designed to serve as reference material for those responsible for repairing Kodak still and motion picture cameras. Information contained within the binders was created and distributed on a subscription basis by Eastman Kodak Company. Subscribers would receive periodic updates of information, which could be added to the binders over time.

Daily production activity logbooks

File contains two logbooks detailing the daily production activities of Kodak Canada from 1947 to 1955 and from 1960 to 1962. The latter logbook, labelled as the "Paper Ctg. Day Book," records the activities of the paper manufacturing department of Kodak Canada. Though unidentified, the former logbook likely pertains to the same department.

File contains records pertaining to the Kodak Canada centennial gala party, held at St. Lawrence Hall, Toronto, on October 28, 1999. The event included the book launch for "Canada: these things we hold dear" by Lorraine Monk. File includes invitations, programs, business cards, photocopied photographs of the event, and post-event correspondence related to the distribution of the book. Records likely belonged to Bonnie Chapman, who worked both in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs and as the Curator of the Kodak Heritiage Collection and Museum.

Records pertaining to the Kodak chair in photography at Ryerson

File contains records pertaining to the Kodak Chair in Photography at Ryerson University from 1986 to 1987. The program was establishedin 1986 with a five-year endowment granted to Ryerson to bring internationally-known lecturers to the school's degree programs in Film, Media Arts and photography. Items include: correspondence between Kodak Canada and Eastman Kodak regarding the former's relationship with Ryerson; Ryerson press releases; a transcript of a speech given by Kodak Canada president, Ron Morrison; and various Ryerson memos and proposals regarding the shape and scope of the program.

George Eastman and Thomas Alva Edison

File contains copy prints featuring an image of George Eastman and Thomas Edison. Caption adhered to versos read: "George Eastman, (left) and friend Thomas Alva Edison, early collaborators. Edison purchased one of Eastman's first "snapshot" cameras. The continuous roll of film it held became the basis for Edison's invention of his first motion picture camera."
