Ophthalmic Dispensing program

The Ophthalmic Dispensing program was designed in conjunction with the Board of Ophthalmic Dispensers of Ontario, which was the provincial licensing and regulatory body. The program consisted of ten courses, taken as either evening or correspondence classes. The program was intended to be taken over a three-year span.
The series is divided into four files:

1998 Awards: Press Release and Program and poster; video: edited (approximately 46:52 minutes, commercial-free) version provided by Mark Bishop, Producer of the TARA Awards production April 16, 1998. Credit to the Ryerson Archives for archival footage used for this production, not appearing on the taped televised version (2 hrs) aired July 25, 1998 on CFMT, was added to the edited version.

1999 Video: 1 hour show, including commercials, aired June 19, 1999 on CFMT. This copy was taped by Archives staff.

Photographic display materials

Series contains various foam cores that were generated and used in displays featuring Ryerson archival material. Series also contains plaques of enlargements of The Ryersonian newspaper.

General files

Series contains materials created by and for the Ryerson Insitute of Technology Students' Union Incorporated (Students' Union Incorporated). Included are meeting announcements, minutes, reports, and correspondence.

Administrative Materials

Series consists of administrative materials related to the International Student Services including profiles, job vacancies, program information, program reviews, and web pages.

Faculty Council general files

Series contains meeting minutes, agendas, correspondence, reports and other materials related to the Faculty Council prior to and after the Board's formation.

Library newsletters

The Series consists of newsletters published to inform its readership of the activities of the Library, including employee profiles and administration updates.

The LRC newsletter (Library and Research Centre) was produced simply and in-house (within the Library) in 1987 and had no official title. No other issue was produced.

"Nexus" replaced the first newsletter in April 1990, as a more formal newsletter and aimed at a readership including Ryerson faculty and Library staff. With the November 2009, Issue 21, NEXUS became available only as an e-issue. The last issue was Spring 2014, Issue 29.

Series contains records generated or collected by David Reville related to 'The Veteran's Group,' which would eventually become the Toronto Psychiatric Survivors.

Continuing Education

Continuing Education includes information on all iterations of the school including the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education and The Chang School.
