The girls wear dresses with big white lace collars, very fashionable in children's fashion from the 1870s. All four corners are angled off.

Woman on right has a dark dress, buttons down the front with a small white collar, in fashion in the 1860s. Her hair is shoulder lenght ringlets, also in fashion in the 1860s. Both have pink tinted cheeks.
