Two pairs of photographs originally grouped together. Two photographs are of a girl seated on a miniature chaise longue in front of garden wall, and two photographs are of the interior of Canterbury Cathedral. The cathedral photographs have both been written on verso in pencil "Canterbury Cathedral," and individually in ink, "Presbytery and Archbishop Bourchier's Tomb" and "Effigy of the Black Prince from his Tomb."

File consists of four black and white prints of a bicycle manufacturing company in Lynn, Massachusetts. Two prints are close-ups of welding machines and the other two prints are different angles of inside the factory.

Series consists of photographs and negatives that belonged to Mr. A.T. Orr and his family. Series also contains several business cards of Mr. Orr's, some of his personal correspondence, newspaper clippings pertaining to birth and wedding announcements, a hymnal, and a lock of Florence E. Orr's hair. Design plans for the Montreal Light Heat & Power Co. are also found in the series.

Item is a cream cabinet card with gold letterpress, partially obscured by the photograph which is pasted on top, sideways. "Van Aken/ ELMIRA, N.Y." with a decoration with letters "V" and "A" intertwined. Photograph shows two individual circular portraits of a man and a woman. Handwritten in ink at the base of the woman's portrait is "1851" and the man's, "1850". Given the style of dress and hair, this is probably the date of the original picture and not a birth or death date. On verso, an elaborate border and design with griffon and foliage, with the text "E.M. Van Aken/ Photographic/ Art/ Studio./ Practical Photographer,/ 120 West Water Street,/ ELMIRA, N.Y./ COPYRIGHTED 1889."

The man wears a dark suit and tie, and holds the infant of about 1 year of age on his right shoulder, laughing. The infant wears a white lace dress and has its left hand to its mouth, also laughing. On verso, elaborate design with spiderweb, sunflowers and rolled parchment in the shape of a shield, with the text "Wilkie G. The man wears a suit with sack coat buttoned only at the top. He holds a straw hat in his left hand.

Item is a pink card with photograph of a woman in striped blouse and white scarf. The image has an oval shape, visible at the corners of the photograph, but the photograph has been cropped in. It was probably meant for a larger, possibly cabinet card mount, but the woman's style of dress is still close in date to the mount style, about mid-1880s.

At the top right corner, there is the faint impression of lettering reading "L Fox"?

Item is a pale yellow cabinet card with portrait of a woman in a flower patterened coat and high collar, gloves and feathered hat, leaning against a stone wall with potted plants. On verso, the motto and arms for the city of Aberdeen (showing three castles, two leapords and the motto "Bon Accord") followed by the photographer's stamp in black, "ARTIST/ &/ PHOTOGRAPHER/ W. Item is a white carte de visite with photograph of a young girl in dres with short lace sleeves and a dark sash around the waist. She is seated on fur. On verso, handwritten in pencil, "4-".

Item is a light grey cabinet card with full length portrait of a young boy, about 5 or 6 years old, wearing a frilled white dress shirt and dark shorts with dark knee socks. He has curls down to his shoulders in the Fauntleroy fashion. He leans against a diamond-patterened fence made of tree branches and there is the trunk of a tree to the left of the image. Fence is in front of an interior wall, implying a studio setting. At bottom of card in black letterpress, "P. BOGRAND, Wausakee, Wis." On verso, handwritten in pencil, "5-".
