Chosen case reflects sentiments of a newspaper clipping found inside case that reads :

"Died . Holmes - In Adeleide, on the 15th of February, 1878, of diptheria, Emma Margaret, aged 4 years, and Ellen Jane, on the 20th February, 1878, aged 10 years and 4 months, daughters of Mr. O.C. Holmes, of Adelaide. The grief-striken parents have the sympathy of their neighbors in their great bereavement."

Came along with one other print in a green paper envelope marked "Britannia."

Item is a black and white photograph of a man and a woman kissing. They are standing on a pile of rocks in a rural setting. The woman is wearing a long dark dress and a dark hat. She is holding a long wooden stick like a cane. The man is wearing a suit and is holding his hat in his hand. The photograph measures 7.25 x 10.75 cm and is mounted on a piece of embossed grey card. On the back of the card in pencil is written "Mother $10-" and blue pen "Nancy & Charles Crabb-".

This is how date was decided. There's a red and white sticker on the glass with a number 2 written inside. The image is of a mummified head, with neck. Nothing else.
