File contains correspondence, reports, job descriptions and other materials related to the re-organization of Wellesley's nursing program from 3 years to 2 years.

File contains a copy of the Wellesley School of Nursing's submission to the Ontario College of Nurses to create a 2 year program in nursing. Up to that point the program offered by Wellesley was as 2 year program with a 3rd year of internship. They were applying to change the program to do away with the third year.

Series consists of materials dealing with the submission by the Wellesley School of Nursing to change their nursing program from 3 years to 2 years. Included in the series is a copy of the submission, correspondence and other materials related to the submission and changes.

File contains two blank applications and reports. The first is an application to The Wellesley School of Nursing and the second is a Principal's report from the applicant's last school attended.

File contains nurse conduct report for The Wellesley Hospital Training School for Nurses. A one page form graded the student nurse on her punctuality, neatness, economy, powers of observation, obedience, conduct, general attention and kindness to patient, management, reliability, and tact. They were given scores out of 10, with 6 being average, and there was room at the bottom of the form to make notes on what the nurse's faults were, if she had been corrected for her faults, and if she had improved. Bottom of sheet indicates that the form was to be filled out twice monthly.

File contains budget and operating expense information for the Wellesley School of Nursing.

File contains two class listings - one by year and one alphabetical. Records created to aid the move of student records from Wellesley to Ryerson. Included in the file is a letter outlining this.

File contains a copy of the Nursing Task Force's report on the integration of the Hospital for Sick Children's, Women's College Hospital's, and Wellesley Hospital's Schools of Nursing into the existing Ryerson Nursing diploma program. Also included in the file is a copy of a letter to George Korey, acting chair of the Nursing Task Force at Ryerson, from G. E. Thornton, Executive Director of the Board of Wellesley Hospital.
