The card is yellowed with an embossed emblem on the top left on the front. Also on the front, on the bottom right, is the name of the photographer "A.R. Ward 289 Yonge St. Toronto". 289 Yonge Street is located right at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto. There is a translucent paper inside the card to further protect the photograph.

Item consists of a black and white photograph of a young boy. The young boy is wearing a formal suit and tie, and is looking off to the right. The photograph was shot in H.E. Peagam's studio in Toronto, Ontario. H.E. Peagam was photographer that had a studio at 32 Temperance Street in Toronto in 1893, and one at 254 Yonge Street in Toronto 1901 - 1922. The portrait of the boy is cut into an oval (measuring approx. 5 x 7 cm) and has a small even white border. The oval photograph is pasted onto a black piece of card measuring 9.25 x 13.25 cm. Women gathered around fair tent

Item is a photograph mounted on beige card with dark brown borders and the text embossed sideways at the left, "Forsythe/ DUNDAS, ONT." Photograph shows a large group of women gathered around and in a wooden fair stall with fabric tented ceiling. On the front of the stall, a small banner with the words "United/ Calm and Resolute", the words of the King of England in 1914 upon hearing of Germany's invasion of Brussels. There are British flags decorating the stall in the park.

Included in the box is a plastic palette and an instruction booklet with colour stamps separated by vellum sheets labeled: "LIGHT YELLOW, FOLIAGE GREEN, DEEP YELLOW, DEEP GREEN, FLESH TINT, LIGHT BLUE, BRILLIANT RED, DARK BLUE, SCARLET, VIOLET, WARM BROWN, STONE GRAY." There is an empty tray for brushes.

WWI family album

Brown cloth cover with gold embossed letters- "Photographs." Black pages with photographs mounted with glue. Notation on photo borders with black ink. Sewn binding. Photographs are mostly family snapshots of people, sometimes with automobiles or in uniform from the Northcote family. Also included are images of golfing, bridges, fishing, horse riding, camping, farms, cattle, sheep, chicken coops, horse drawn sleigh, the beach, trees, houses, dogs, trains, children, biking, deer and wagons. Three newspaper articles are pasted in. One about the Northcote family (mother, six sons and two daughters) all serving in the war, one about Pte. Wm. Clements dying in battle, and one of Corporal Northcote being the first Royal Engineer to be awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal.

Victoria Rock : 37 feet

Item consists of a photograph of someone diving from a cliff, likely Queen Victoria's Rock in Lake Rousseau Muskoka. It is mounted on brown card, with an inscription that reads "VICTORIA ROCK 37'" below the image. On the verso in pencil is inscribed: "WRBenson / 1918".

Item consists of eight photographs taken at Unionville of a young boy and a young girl. The children are accompanied by adults in two of the photos. In one of them both children are carried by adults with another woman standing by. In the other the young girl is standing in front of a man.

W. Lillard appearing in the New York Evening Post.

Item consists of a glossy gelatin silver print mounted on tan mat board with an embossed border. It depicts a display at an agricultural fair in an exhibition hall. Four men stand around the display. Item consists of a photograph mounted on grey card with a group of musicians posed behind a many-tiered display of harvest fruits and vegetables inside a building. The banner across the back of the display reads "SEEDTIME AND HARVEST SHALL NOT FAIL", a variation on the Biblical verse Genesis 8:22. On verso, a blue stamp at the bottom centre reads "Robson's Studio/ BOWMANVILLE, ONT."

Item is a cream coloured cabinet card with portrait of a man with light-coloured suit jacket and pale or white tie. At bottom of card, in gold letterpress "R. L. Hinde" and a print resembling an artist's palette and brushes with the words "EXTRA FINISH" inside image, and at right, "HARRISTON". On verso, handwritten in ink across top, "No. 118 May 21/ 95".
