the Handle

Item is a large sized instant camera in a grey, blue and black plastic housing with a large handle on the left hand side for easy handling. It is an example of one of Kodak's short attempt at instant film, prior to the loss of a patent infringement case with Polaroid in which Kodak was ordered to cease production of any instant film related products.

Young adult gathering, employees at warehouse

File contains a collection of snapshots, all with borders and some with bevelled edges, that feature images from a gathering of young adults at someone's home or cottage. Additionally, there are images of employees inside a warehouse and office building. A photographer's stamp on the verso of many of the images reads: "W. P. Item is a basic snapshot camera with narrow, horizontal design, similar to that of the Kodak Mickey-Matic or the Gimini. It has an orange coloured release button on top and a brown and tan plastic (the darker brown mottled to look like leatherette) body. Made for use with 110 cartridge film.

Item is a medium format camera with large bulb flash attachment, black casing and bellows, metal clasps and folding viewfinder. Originally sold for US $38, it was made for use with 620 film and features a body similar to cameras of the Kodak Monitor series.

Vest Pocket Kodak Autographic camera

Item is a Vest Pocket Autographic made for use with 127 film. It is a small camera with black casing and black leather bellows. A continuation of the Vest Pocket camera, it features an "Autographic" feature that allowed photographers to sign a note on the top of the film which became visible after the film was developed.

Item is a clear glass tray for developing photographic prints. A removable glass dowel holds the paper down so it remains inmmersed in the chemical solutions. Sold by the E. & H.T. Anthony company in New York.

Item is a VHS recording of the live press announcement of the Kodak Photo CD System, which was held at the Marriot Marquis in New York City on August 25th, 1992. The event included an outline of the products involved in the system and was hosted by David J Mels (Senior Vice President and Director of Communications and Public Affairs) and Kay R. Whitmore (Chairman, President and Cheif Executive Officer).

Item consists of four identical posters, two in French and two in English. The poster features black and white images of a letter from the president of Kodak Canada Inc. celebrating the success of their manufacturing and supply operations, a Kodacolor roll of film, and of six Kodak employees. Writing at the bottom of the poster describes the accomplishments of the Kodak team and thanks them for their great performance in 1992.

Item consists of a sleeve for two dozen 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch Eastman Kodak Co. Solio Paper for export. A sticker on the front of the envelope reads "Cochran / Photo Supplies. / Hamilton, Ont." and stamped on the verso (extremely faded) reads: "This paper will not be [illegible] for / any fault of manufacture after / APR 27 1900 / EMULSION NO. 18758 / PACKED BY NO. 26".
