RFA Logo Competition

Records related to a contest open to all faculty, staff, and students, which drew 13 contestants. The prize consisted of a 30 GB iPod and a $50.00 gift certificate for Chapters Bookstore, and a prime rib buffet dinner for two at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel near the corner of Gerrard and Yonge streets. Includes one each of Ryersonian (March 29, 2006) and Eyeopener (April 5, 2006).

Executive Committee minutes and records

This series consists of minutes and correspondence and is arranged chronologically. Some items in the series, especially for the years 1967-1976, are from the RFA documentation files. Subsequent donations of materials have been arranged within the original materials. RG 91.01.02 contains minutes from RFA Representation in Institute and Executive Committees.

RFA Correspondence

This series consists primarily of memoranda and letters: from the Executive (in most cases, the President) to the members-at-large; between the RFA and internal and external bodies, or persons; and from faculty to the Executive.

Brian Segal's address to the Ryerson Faculty Association

Brian Segal, President of Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, addressed the Ryerson Faculty Association's Professional Affairs meeting on November 17, 1982. President Segal spoke about making Ryerson truly a "Polytechnic University in fact as well as name". He addressed the changes the needed to be undertaken. An article was published in the "Forum" newsletter November 26, 1982 regarding his address.
