Thanks for the memories: Kodak Heights manufacturing 1914-2005

A commemorative DVD produced by Kodak Canada Ltd. for employees during the final days of the Kodak Heights operations. The DVD celebrates the employees of Kodak Heights in Toronto upon the closing of the plant in 2005. Four films on the disc include events and speeches from the June 30th, 2005 employee day, interviews and photographs of Kodak Heights employees.

Item consists of four identical posters, two in French and two in English. The poster features black and white images of a letter from the president of Kodak Canada Inc. celebrating the success of their manufacturing and supply operations, a Kodacolor roll of film, and of six Kodak employees. Writing at the bottom of the poster describes the accomplishments of the Kodak team and thanks them for their great performance in 1992.

Terry Fox foundation

Item is a beige plaque with a black border that reads in grey and pink text: "THE TERRY FOX FOUNDATION / Certificate of / Appreciation / To Kodak Canada Inc. Employee Charity Fund / For your participation and dedication to the / annual Terry Fox Run. / Terry Fox's race is over. In fact, he never finished the / course: none of us do. This item is a poster of an advertisement for a Folding Pocket Kodak Camera featuring a fashionably dressed woman, which would later become known as the Kodak Girl. The blue-and-white striped dress became her signature apparel, and she always had a Kodak camera in hand.

Studio light, Canadian ed. / Eastman Kodak Company

File contains issues of the Canadian Edition of Studio Light, published by Eastman Kodak Company, from 1909 to 1929. The publication was launched in 1909 and was targeted toward professional photographers. File includes vol. 1, no. 1 (Mar. 1909) to vol. 21, no. 10 (Dec. 1929). The original name of the publication was Studio Light and the Aristo Eagle. The name was changed to Studio Light in February, 1910.

Item is a simple snapshot camera with a built-in electronic flash. It has a small, thin horizontal design with black plastic body and flashcube on right. Film-wind wheel centrally mounted on the back of the camera. Comes in original orange plastic packaging (unopened) with a roll of 110 film and 2 AAA batteries.
