Seris contains catalogues, price lists and advertisements for various photographic equipment available for sale from various companies, with a concentration on early 20th century companies, particularly from the Rochester, New York area.

This collection consists of photographic films, papers and chemicals used by various individuals for amateur or professional purposes. The collection also includes camera accessories, flash equipment, various lenses, exposure meters (light meters) and equpiment used for darkroom processing and printing. This is a growing collection, created to help preserve the materials used for analogue photographic developing, printing and enlarging.

Item is the September 1992 issue.

The card-mounted photographs are all studio portraits of unidentified individuals. The first of two cabinet cards is embossed with "Quartley", and the second is embossed with "Morton." Two Cartes de visites are printed on verso with "J.F. Rowe. A fifth card is identified as a "Gem" photo card, printed on verso with "R.W. Knorr" and an advertisement for the tiny Gem format.

Photographic print of three women is trimmed into a tiny circle and set into a button assembly. The unsmiling women are shown wearing white blouses and darker neck bows. The button is black metal, with a gold metal pin.

This fonds contains, one photographic print, and one periodical containing a review of a Bergerson exhibition.

Item consists of a black and white photograph of two boys standing, holding a string with fish on it between them. The boy on the left is wearing a shirt and black pants with a belt, and is holding one end of the string. The boy on the right is wearing a suit and a hat, and holding the other end of the string. On the string hangs 5-6 medium sized fish. Both boys are standing in front of a house and looking at the camera. There is an uneven white border around the image and below the image is handwritten "PALS". On the back of the photograph, stamped in blue is "New Crystal Finish, Reg U.S Patent, THE OWL DRUG CO., Lewison, Idaho", and on the bottom right "13". The Owl Dug Co. was created at 1128 Market Street in San Francisco in 1892. It branched out across the United States, until the Rexall Drug Co. bought out the chain in the 1930s.

Two gold clasps decorated with gold ribbons and rings. Inside cover has pink and gold pattern. Title page and index page included. White pages with window openings and gold borders. A collection of framed and unframed Normal School postcards, however, one postcard is a photograph of a postcard. A few have messages, names, addresses, stamps and postmarks . Three of these photographs are stamped on verso by the photography studio of H. R. Niebel, Orillia, Ont., and four are written on verso: "Peggy Grant and Muray infant", "Muray Grant, July / 26 - 17 mos.", "Florence Grant, Muray Grant, and Chris Wallace in Orilia", and "Cameron Grant and fella."

Item has a yellow cardboard frame with tintype held in by three black photo corners. Handwritten in black ink on the yellow cardboards is "Mr and Mrs Neil Gardiner "Sister of Geo. Kimber." Tintype is a studio portrait of a couple, potentially Mr and Mrs Neil Gardiner. The man is sitting with arm on armrest, the other in his lap. The woman is standing beside him. He is wearing a suit jacket with vest and watch chain and bowler hat. She is wearing a coat, buttoned up and a hat with an ostrich feather. The tintype is rounded at the top and bottom edges. Both style hats suggest the image was taken in the 1880s.

Eastman Kodak's Corporte Information department changed its name to Corporate Communicatons in 1979 and then to Communications and Public Affairs between 1983 and 1987.

Item is an optical disc (CD) containing digital photographs (JPG) of a Kodak employee meeting and other miscellaneous photos.

Commerical photographs: one still life of a tea set, one advertising a fisher price camera for children - the image is of three children (two boys and a girl) and a note with the photograph reads "Put a camera in the hands of children and sharpen your own view of the world. The Fisher-Price camera was designed for younsters in the five-to-eight-year-old group". Four are head shots of a young man wth a mohawk. Two are of Grey Line red double decker buses with Kodak advertising on the side of the buses. Two are studio shots of Kodak cameras with boxes of Kodak film. One is of men in the middle of a soccer game, this photograph includes a note that reads "Participants in the 1986 Kodak 'Run for the Money' color reporduction contest will be working from this colorful sports action photo in their attempts to accurately reproduce the image for the ninth annual Kodak 'Run for the Money." Other images are still lifes of coloured umbrellas, chalk, and casino lights taken at night. As well as two commercial 'beauty' shots of two women.
