Orillia, Ontario photographs

Tan envelopes are printed in black with "B. Frank Stewart, Kodaks and Amateur Supplies, Orillia, Ontario." Most of the photographs are undated snapshots of unidentified individuals and groups posed indoors and out, and images of farm animals, buildings, Niagara Falls and landscapes. Spanish-American war album

Black cover album with grey pages. Photographs glued in. Bound together by screwposts. Some photographs are torn, cut, cracked; many are loose or coming loose. Many pages are left blank; approximately ten to fifteen pages from the back of the album, there is a newspaper clipping of Princess Elizabeth holding baby Princess Anne (b. 1950).

Album belonged to a nurse from Alexander Ontario who served in Cuba during the Spanish-American War. Some are amateur travel photographs and some appear to be taken with the purpose of being sold as a souvenir, featuring text.
Included are images of Havana, the coast, harbour, buildings, monuments, etc; the Red Cross Building, a U.S. hospital, a man dead on a stretcher, bullfights, and locals. Possibly a photo of Theodore Roosevent delivering the U.S. Soldiers.
Also included are an invitation, a newspaper cutout of an illustration of The Cane-bottom'd Char by W.M. Thackeray and an unidentified pressed plant leaf.

Green cover album bound by white by white braided string. Black pages, photos held inwith clear photo corners. Handwritten notations in white pencil. Interleaving with spider web design between each page.

Cottage album

Black textured soft cover. Black pages with photographs hand cut and mounted with glue. Many of the last pages are blank.
Photographs are amateur family snapshots taken at various locations including houses and a log cabin. There are landscapes and pictures of the family and children participating in various activities, including fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, and other cottage types of activities. There are also images taken in a photobooth, and photos of the family dog.

Panorama album

Item consists of a large rectangular album with the word "Photographs" printed on the cover. Album includes photographs of lakes, rivers, farms and landscapes in Ontario and Quebec. The first page of the album is a key to the album with names of each location, such as Trout Lake, Deux Rivieres, James Bay. Some pages have large panoramic images of locations, and others have several smaller photographs on the page.

Peoria album

Item consists of an album with a black cover held by a string. It contains black-and-white photographic prints of a family in Peoria, Illinois and Detroit, Michigan. Album includes images of people on a farm, park and a boat as well as of people posing outside.

Item is an albumen stereograph. Image depicts a large machine on a platform in an exhibition hall. The machine is marked "GEO. H. CORLISS, PROVIDENCE R.I."
