Career Path, September 1998, Issue 1 (vol. 1) is two pages of general Career Centre information, and workshop, seminar descriptions. The newsletter grew to four pages of career advice and information with workshop descriptions.

File contains 2 copies of the keynote address delivered by Robert Scott to The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers at the 14th International Television Conference. The Conference was held in Toronto on February 1, 1980. Also in the file is thank you letter from the President of the Society for his participation.

Teaching and High School Entrance Certificates - Mary Reeves

Five certificates received by May Ferguson under her maiden name, Reeves. One of the certificates is an admission certificate to a "Collegiate Institute, High School or Continuation School" whereas the remaining certificates are kindergarten/public schoolteacher's certificates. Two of these certificates are for programs taken at the Toronto Normal School.

A Proposal to Establish a Language Centre, Preliminary Report

The title proper of the report in this file is, Preliminary Report of the English Department Language Committee, A Proposal to Establish a Language Centre.

The Language Committee assessed and proposed a language and writing centre, centralized to better serve students' access to language and writing skill courses, as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) at the academia level.

The committee submitted the preliminary report to the Dean of Arts, Dr. Errol Aspevig.

The images used in this display collection were created in the early to mid 1980s. They were subsequently enlarged and mounted for display, "The Difference Private Funding Can Make". Descriptive labels accompanied the display boards, but were transcribed (below) and destroyed.

Access program for multi-racial students enter Human Service fields

The program offered through Continuing Education at Ryerson was created jointly by Ryerson and the Access Action Council and was funded by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities.
